I’ve always loved making plates. A good plate is not easy to throw. Rims have to be proportional. The curve of the bottom smooth and even, not flat, but not too curved. I make sets of tableware by throwing many extras and picking the closest matches.
Handmade stoneware tableware lunch plates make a great snack plate, sandwich plate, and dessert plate. About 8 inches in diameter. I also use one under the personal sized veggie steamer for use on the table. Order extra, for me it’s the most used size plate and there’s always too many in the dishwasher or sink.
